 My
name is Simon. I wanted to start this website to tell people
that Kylie Minogue is my idol.
I
would like people to share their stories about Kylie. If you
have met her or been to any of her concerts.
My
dream came true when I met her backstage in Sydney before
one of her concerts in 1998. I would like other people to
tell me what they have collected on Kylie or any news items
as well. I have every CD, Video and magazines on Kylie. I
was sick with Crohn's disease, that's inflamation of the lining
of the bowels. I had to have some of my bowels removed as
they were badly inflamed and in hospital seven times in three
months.
 So
my mother wrote to Kylie Minogues manager to see if there
was any way I could meet her. A couple of days later she said
I was going to see her. I thought mum was joking when she
told me. She wasn't! When I did meet Kylie I gave her 20 red
roses. Kylie was thrilled with the roses and couldn't believe
how tall I was. She is such a sweet lady and so very kind.
I was so overcome that I burst into tears. She said, "
don't cry Simon, we are going to have our photo taken. I felt
like hugging her to bits. She told me she would see me again
one day.
Kylie
signed my CD record cover which I will treasure always. Also
a video cover. She could not believe how many roses were there.
